Students can request access to the ElecSoc Lair for approved activities such as 3D printing, electronics projects, equipment use, and teamwork.

A booking request does not guarantee access

Access is only granted after a committee administrator approves your request. You will receive an email once your request has been reviewed.

How it works

Three steps from request to access.

Step 1

Submit a request

Enter your name, student number, email address, purpose, and requested time.

Step 2

Wait for approval

A committee administrator reviews the request before any access is granted.

Step 3

Receive temporary access

After approval, you receive a temporary six-digit PIN that only works during the approved access period.

Different people access the lair in different ways.

Use a registered NFC student card for door access.

Use a student number and a temporary PIN valid only during the approved window.
